In her 13 years as a pollster, Weigel has directed research efforts for hundreds of political and public affairs campaigns throughout the country, including at the presidential level. In 1998, Weigel was named a "Rising Star" in American politics by Campaigns & Elections magazine.

Weigel writes extensively on trends affecting campaigns, including the popular POS publication "e-answers." She has written on such topics as faith in America, gender distinctions, and even cultural phenomenon such as the steroids scandal in baseball.

She has lectured at numerous universities and women's political forums, and has appeared on C-Span and the Fox News Channel. She is frequently quoted on politics, including in The New York Times, the New Republic, and other major publications. Her polling has also been featured in U.S. News & World Report, the San Diego Union Tribune and the Chicago Tribune.

Weigel has also directed polling in over a dozen countries on four continents, including at the presidential and legislative levels. Her experience polling on policy issues extends to such varied areas as health care, energy, land use, recreation, technology, litigation/trial consulting, corporate image and crisis management.

Before moving to Colorado, she polled for a Gallup affiliate in Washington D.C., worked on Jack Kemp's presidential campaign, and for the National Federation of Republican Women.
