Elizabeth Harrington, Partner POS
 Since joining POS in 1998, the major focus of Elizabeth's work has been public affairs and public policy research, managing over 20 million dollars of both qualitative and quantitative research projects. Elizabeth's research experience extends to a variety of issues such as health care, Medicare, Medicaid, children's issues, crisis management, mergers & acquisitions, litigation/tort reform, corporate image research, media testing and public education campaigns.
- Her research experience on key healthcare issues has included work for America's Health Insurance Plans, Anthem, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Kaiser Family Foundation, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and Pfizer.
- Her research experience on media testing has included work for the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS, formally HCFA), DaimlerChrysler, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the United Nations Foundation.
- In addition to her public affairs work, Elizabeth has also managed research for political candidates. During the 2000 election cycle, Elizabeth managed the survey research for Senator John McCain's presidential campaign.
Elizabeth is a RIVA trained focus group moderator, completing courses in both the fundamentals of moderating and advanced moderating. She has moderated over 150 focus groups specifically focused on testing messages and evaluating media for advertising, public policy or earned media campaigns. This includes moderating the majority of the focus groups completed for both the Medicare National Multi-Media & Education Campaign on behalf of CMS and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's campaign raising awareness for coverage of the uninsured.
Prior to joining POS, Elizabeth worked as the Market Research Director for a research firm and publishing company in Philadelphia, PA. Elizabeth is originally from Philadelphia and received a B.A. in Government from Skidmore College in 1995. She resides in Potomac, MD.
