Alex Bratty Bellone is a Vice President at Public Opinion Strategies, a leading national political and public affairs survey research firm.

Since joining POS in September 2003, Alex has managed hundreds of qualitative and quantitative projects totaling over eight million dollars. Alex’s research experience extends to such varied issues as health care, Medicare, education, the environment and energy, litigation/tort reform, crisis management and corporate image and media testing.

Alex has worked on accounts for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), DaimlerChrysler, Pfizer, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the US Chamber of Commerce and the United Nations Foundation. In partnership with Hart Research, Alex also part of the team that works on the NBC News/Wall Street Journal National Poll and is a RIVA trained focus group moderator.

In addition to her public affairs work, Alex has worked on political research for the Republican Governors’ Association (RGA). During the 2003 election cycle, Alex managed the post-elect survey research for the Mississippi and Louisiana Gubernatorial races. During the 2004 election cycle she worked on a variety of ballot initiatives in Nevada and once again managed post-elect work for the RGA.

Prior to joining POS, Alex worked as an Audience Research and Business Development Manager for the cable news channel, MSNBC. Alex is originally from Northern Ireland, and received her Bachelors degree at Edinburgh University, Scotland for dual honors in Business Studies and French in 1997, followed by her Masters of Business Administration from Villanova, PA in 2001. Alex and her husband reside in Alexandria, VA.
